In Social Studies, students have had the opportunity of researching about a very critical topic nowadays that is contemporary slavery.
They interviewed an expert in the topic, Mr. Terry FitzPatrick, from the Free the Slaves organization, based in Washington DC, USA. Thus, they were able to see the many aspects of the issue that victimizes 27 million people all around the world. In the end of this extensive and eye opening path of learning about contemporary slavery and our involvement with it, they produced the infographics that can be seen in our webzine. These infographics are concise ways of explaining an intricate and complex subject. We hope this can shed light in this hideous problem and help us take action to try to fight it.
