I’ve always lied and played video games. One day I was playing a violent game and since then, my mom started being concerned about me and my videogame habit and started grounding me. Since then I’ve been grounded and “ungrounded” many times, even when I’m not playing violent games.

I know that you are going through a hard time and this is a delicate situation. But being grounded because of video-games looks difficult but this is normal because your mom is just concerned and in my opinion you must stop lying because when you lie people won´t trust you. You should speak to your mom, and if you are ready say that you are big enough to play violent video-games without being influenced, or have you tried playing non-violent games. I hope I could help
