Advice Column – by Hugo C. (7C)

Dear Y7 Student,

I have to go through a delicate situation. I have a friend, I’m not sure if she is really my friend, but she disappointed me. She lies to me and uses me. I have only recently discovered that she doesn’t make me happy, she makes me feel bad. What should I do?

Dear Anonymous,

I really appreciate that you asked for advice; moreover, I understand your situation. It’s difficult, so here are some tips for you.

To begin, friendships are really delicate almost all the time, so you need to be sensitive and think twice before acting.

Second, there are seven billion people in the world and you don’t have to be attached to only one, you can try to find other friends that will make you happy and then you won’t need to break up with this friend. Also, you can talk with this friend, almost all the times conversations are the best solution.

So, you need to take action, things can’t stay like this! Just trust yourself, you can do whatever you want. Go! Just do it! You can do it! I trust you!

Sincerely,

Hugo C.
